  • Oribe Peralta has officially signed for Club América.
  • Raul Jimenéz, Alan Pulido (Olympiakos), and Peña have all been rumored to make moves to Europe.
  • With the official World Cup list released, the average age has been calculated at 27.2 years old. Although the average is more than the team in 2010 (25), this years edition has less players in their 30’s.
  • Mexico’s friendly against Israel is rumored to include Cuauhtémoc Blanco, as the game will be his last in a Mexico kit, at the age of 41.
  • Cuauhtémoc has also signed with Puebla.
  • Piojo Herrera has claimed that the XI is not determined, and that the team is playing with a clean slate to impress him for a starting spot.
