Hector Moreno (Espanyol)– Moreno played all 90 minutes in the 2-1 loss to Real Sociedad. Next: Real Jaen CF 12/8 Copa del Rey

Javier Aguirre(Espanyol)– Aguirre’s Espanyol lost 2-1 against Real Sociedad. Next: Real Jaen CF 12/8 Copa del Rey

Andres Guardado (Valencia)– During the week’s Europa League match, Guardado played 74 minutes in the 1-0 win against Swansea. Guardado played 74 minutes in the 3-0 win against Osasuna. Next: Gimnastic 12/8 Copa del Rey.

Jonathan Dos Santos (Barcelona )– Dos Santos suffered an unfortunate accident to his anterior cruciate ligament on his right knee. He’s expected to be out for another 5 months.

Carlos Vela (Real Sociedad)– Midweek, Vela played 74 minutes in the 4-0 loss to Shakhtar in the Champions League. Vela played all 90 minutes in the 2-1 win against Espanyol and he provided an assist in the 69th minute. Next: Algeciras CF 12/8 Copa del Rey

Giovani Dos Santos (Villarreal)– Dos Santos entered in the 62nd minute during the 1-1 draw against Malaga. Next: Elche 12/6 Copa del Rey

Javier Aquino(Villarreal)– Aquino played all 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw against Malaga. Next: Elche 12/6 Copa del Rey

Nery Castillo(Rayo Vallecano)-Castillo entered the game in the 70th minute during the 2-2 draw against Rayo Vallecano. Next: Valladolid 12/6 Copa del Rey

Anibal Zurdo(Sabadell)– Zurdo scored twice in the 3-1 win against Mirandes. He scored in the 10th and 66th minute. Next: Barca B 12/7 Liga Adelante

Ulises Davila(Cordoba)– Davila played all 90 minutes in the 2-1 loss to Barca B. Next: Zaragoza 12/6 Liga Adelante 1

ENGLAND

Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez (Manchester United)– Hernandez remained on the bench during the 5-0 win against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League group stage. He entered the game in the 73rd minute during the 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur. Next: Everton 12/4 Premier League; Newcastle 12/7 Premier League

FRANCE

Guillermo Ochoa(Ajaccio)– Ochoa played all 90 minutes in the 4-0 loss to Bordeaux. Next: Bastia 12/4 Ligue 1; Monaca 12/8 Ligue 1

Portugal

Diego Reyes(Porto)– Reyes was called to the bench for the 1-1 draw against Austria Vienna. He played over the weekend with Porto B in 3-1 loss to Benfica. Next: Braga 12/7

Hector Herrera(Porto)– Herrera remained on the bench for the 1-1 draw in the Champions League against Austria Vienna. He remained on the bench again for the 1-0 loss to Academia de Coimbra. Next: Braga 12/7

Netherlands

Jesus ‘Tecatito’ Corona(Twente)– Corona remained on the bench during the 2-1 win against Roda JC. Next: AZ Alkmaar.

Scotland

Gabriel Rojo de la Vega Piccolo(Patrick Thistle)- Played all 90 minutes in the 1-0 loss to Aberdeen. Next: Hibernian 12/7 La Liga

USA

Richard Sanchez(Fort Lauderdale Strikers)– Sanchez played all 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw against FC Edmonton during the closing of the season.

  1. Thanks for the updates! All these M.A. need more playing time. I get tired of seeing this, “on the bench” stuff… Also, did Nery play against his own team? He came in for Rayo and drew against them?
