Hector Moreno (Espanyol)– Moreno played all 90 minutes in the 2-0 loss to Getafe. Next:Elche 10/5 La Liga

Javier Aguirre(Espanyol)– Aguirre’s lost 2-0 to Getafe. Next:Elche 10/5 La Liga

Andres Guardado (Valencia)-Guardado did not make the final team sheet in the 1-0 win against Rayo Vallecano. Next: Kuban Krasno 10/3 Europa League; Athletic 10/6 La Liga

Jonathan Dos Santos (Barcelona )– Dos Santos played the last moments of the 2-0 win against Almeria. Next: Celtic 10/1 UCL; Valladolid 10/5 La Liga

Carlos Vela (Real Sociedad)– Vela played all 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw against Sevilla. He provided the assist for his team’s goal. Next: Leverkusen 10/2 UCL; Rayo 10/5 La Liga

Giovani Dos Santos (Villarreal)– Dos Santos entered the 1-0 loss to Betis in the 57th minute. Next:Granada 10/4 La Liga

Javier Aquino(Villarreal)– Aquino played all 90 minutes during the 1-0 loss to Betis. Next:Granada 10/4 La Liga

Nery Castillo(Rayo Vallecano)– Castillo made his debut played the last four minutes of the 1-0 loss to Valencia. Next: Real Sociedad 10/5 La Liga

Anibal Zurdo(Sabadell)– Anibal played 70 minutes and scored in the 60th minute via penalty during the 2-0 win against Almeria. Next: Girona 10/6

Ulises Davila(Cordoba)– Davila entered the 2-0 win in the 81st minute. Next: Las Palmas 10/5

ENGLAND

Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez (Manchester United)– Hernandez scored the winning goal in the Carling Cup 1-0 win against Liverpool. He played 74 minutes. Hernandez started and played 58 minutes in the 2-1 loss to West Brom. Next:Shakhtar 10/2 UCL; Sunderland 10/5 Premier League

FRANCE

Guillermo Ochoa(Ajaccio)-Ochoa played all 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw against Montpellier. Next: Lille 10/5 La Ligue.

Portugal

Diego Reyes(Porto)– Reyes remained on the bench for the 1-0 win against Guimaraes. Next: Atletico 10/1 UCL; FC Arouca 9/22 Primeira Liga

Hector Herrera(Porto)– Herrera was not called for the 1-0 win against Guimaraes. Next: Vienna 9/18 UCL; Estoril 10/6 Primeira Liga

Netherlands

Jesus ‘Tecatito’ Corona(Twente)– Corona made his debut and scored a goal during his 20 minute stint on the field. Next: Cambuur 10/4 Eredivisie

USA

Erick Torres(Chivas USA)-Torres played all 90 minutes during Chivas’ 1-0 loss to San Jose Next: Galaxy 10/6 MLS

Richard Sanchez(Fort Lauderdale Strikers)-Sanchez played all 90 minutes in the 2-0 loss against Carolina RailHawks. Next: Tampa Bay Rowdies 10/6

  1. Not a bad week for the European based players, a few to many loses but a couple of goals and assist will do for now. Happy Jesus Corona got his first goal, that should ease his nerves. Lets hope Zurdo gets a chance in 1st division soon but sad to see Guardado losing his form Any news on Gabriel Piccolo who plays in Patrick Thistle (Scottish Primiership)?
