Andres Guardado (Valencia)– Guardado stayed on the bench during the 3-1 loss to Betis. Next: Swansea 9/19 Europa League; Sevilla 9/22 La Liga

Jonathan Dos Santos (Barcelona )– Dos Santos stayed on the bench for the 3-2 win against Sevilla. Next: Ajax 9/18 UCL; Rayo 9/21 La Liga

Carlos Vela (Real Sociedad)– Vela played 86 minutes in the 0-0 draw against Levante. Next: Shakhtar 9/18 UCL; Malaga 9/21 La Liga

Giovani Dos Santos (Villarreal)– Dos Santos played 75 minutes and scored the equalizer in the 70th minute against Real Madrid for a 2-2 draw. Next:Celta Vigo 9/22 La Liga

Javier Aquino(Villarreal)– Aquino played all 90 minutes and received a yellow card during Villarreal’s 2-2 draw against Real Madrid. Next:Celta Vigo 9/22 La Liga

Nery Castillo(Rayo Vallecano)– Castillo remains out with injury and did not play in the 5-0 loss to Malaga. He expected to be cleared this upcoming Monday. Next: Barcelona 9/21 La Liga

Anibal Zurdo(Sabadell)– Zurdo entered the game in the 68th minute during the 1-0 win against Eibar. Next: 9/21 Numancia

Ulises Davila(Cordoba)– Davila entered the game in the 51st minute during the 3-1 win against Numancia. 9/22 Real Jaen


Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez (Manchester United)– Hernandez played the last 11 minutes of the 2-0 win against Crystal Palace. Next:Leverkusen 9/17 UCL; Manchester City 9/22 Premier League


Guillermo Ochoa(Ajaccio)-Ochoa played all 90 minutes during the 2-3 loss to Evian. Next: Rennes 9/21 La Ligue.


Diego Reyes(Porto)– Reyes was not call for the 2-0 win against Gil Vicente. Next: Vienna 9/18 UCL; Estoril 9/22 Primeira Liga

Hector Herrera(Porto)– Herrera was not called for the 2-0 win against Gil Vicente. Next: Vienna 9/18 UCL; Estoril 9/22 Primeira Liga


Jesus ‘Tecatito’ Corona(Twente)– Corona fixed all the required paperwork and returned to the Netherlands. He made the bench for the game against PSV but did not see any action during the 2-2 draw. Next: Heracles 9/21 Eredivisie


Erick Torres(Chivas USA)-Torres played all 90 minutes during Chivas’ 1-1 draw against the Portland Timbers. Next: Houston 9/21 MLS

Richard Sanchez(Fort Lauderdale Strikers)-Sanchez played all 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw against FC Edmonton. Next: NY Cosmos 9/22

  1. Chich better get some playing time. JDS better move away and Guardado better step his game up. Where the hell is Nery!? Dude has been sidelined since forever.

      1. Damn! That would be so awesome! Vela & JDS!!! Wow! Too bad you couldn’t bundle all the Mexicans into one team and have them all play together for club and country!

  2. So is Vucetich really only going to call the in-form players? CH14, JDS, Guardado, Reyes, and Herrera are going to all miss out!!
