Javier Aguirre(Espanyol)– Aguirre’s team earned all three points in the 3-1 win against Valencia. Next: Betis 9/1 La Liga

Andres Guardado (Valencia)– Returning from injury and playing out of position Guardado entered the game in the 84th minute during the 3-1 loss to Espanyol. Next: Barcelona 9/1 La Liga

Jonathan Dos Santos (Barcelona )– Dos Santos managed to wrangle his stay at Barcelona under new manager Tata Martino. He was not on the final team sheet during the 1-0 win against Malaga. Next: Valencia 9/1 La Liga

Carlos Vela (Real Sociedad)-Vela gave an assist and helped his team to a 2-0 lead in the Champion’s League qualifiers against Lyon. He played all 90 minutes and scored a goal in the 74th minute to help Sociedad earn a 1-1 draw against Elche. Next: Lyon 8/28 Champion’s League; Atletico 9/1 La Liga

Guillermo Ochoa(Ajaccio)-Ochoa played all 90 minutes during the 0-0 draw against Nice. Next: Sochaux 8/21 La Ligue.

Portugal

USA

Richard Sanchez(Fort Lauderdale Strikers)-Sanchez was named player of the week for making saves and helping his team earn a 1-0 win against the Atlanta Silverbacks in the NASL.

Rumors

Ulises Davila- Davila is owned by Chelsea, but his club wants to loan him out. His loan term is over with Sabadell and the next teams that might take him on are Cordoba(Spain 2nd) or Twente(Holland).

Confirmed

Jesus ‘Tecatito’ Corona(Twente)-Corona’s saga is at an end. He is current in Holland and final details have been finalized. He signed for four years and will wear #11.

    1. Who? If he doesn’t have strong ties to el Tri then they most likely wont talk about him on this site.

      I google searched him and he plays on some 2nd Division Greek team. I wish him the best. He’s only 21.
