Hector Moreno (Espanyol)– Moreno played all 90 minutes in the 1-0 loss to Granada. Next: Sevilla 5/5 La Liga

Javier Aguirre& Alfredo Tena(Espanyol)– Lost 1-0 to Granada making it difficult to reach a European spot, but the team’s recent priority was not to get relegated. Next: Sevilla 5/5 La Liga

Andres Guardado (Valencia)– Started on the bench and entered in the 76th minute in the 4-2 loss to Real Sociedad. Next: Osasuna 5/4 La Liga

Jonathan Dos Santos (Barcelona )-Was not called for the 4-0 loss to Bayern or the 2-2 draw against Athletic. Next: Bayern 5/1 UCL; Betis 5/5 La Liga

Carlos Vela (Real Sociedad)– Vela played all 90 minutes in the 4-2 win against Valencia. Real Sociedad now have a 5 point difference from Malaga for fourth place. Next: Getafe 5/6 La Liga

Giovani Dos Santos (Mallorca)– Dos Santos played all 90 minutes in the 3-2 loss to Real Zaragoza. He provided an assist for the first goal. Mallorca are currently last in the La Liga table with a very strong possibility of relegation. The future of Dos Santos remains to be seen. Next: Levante 5/5 La Liga

Anibal Zurdo(Sabadell)– Anibal played all 90 minutes in the 2-0 win against Mirandes. Next: Numancia 5/5

Ulises Davila(Sabadell)– Davila will be out for the next week after suffering a tear of his rectus femoris muscle of his right leg. Next: Numancia 5/5

Javier Aquino(Villarreal)– Aquino was not called for the 0-0 draw against Lugo, but it seems like he has progressed from his injury and is expected back next week. Next: Elche 5/5


Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez (Manchester United)– ‘Chicharito’ entered the 1-1 draw against Arsenal in the 88th minute. Next: Chelsea 5/5 Premier League


Guillermo Ochoa(Ajaccio)– Ochoa played all 90 minutes and saved a penalty to win 2-1 against Montpellier. Earlier in the week he played all 90 minutes but lost 4-2 to St. Etienne. Next: St. Reims 5/4 La Ligue.


Giovani Casillas(Chivas USA)– Remained on the bench for the 2-2 draw against San Jose. Next: Kansas City 5/5 MLS


Pedro Arce(Anagennisi Giannitsa)- Did not play in the 5-1 loss against Iraklis.


Diego Reyes(America) will play with F.C. Porto starting with the 2013-2014 season. He’s signed a contract for 5 years.

Hector Herrera-(Pachuca) will play with Porto.


Some of the things that have been popping up…

Economic difficulties may see Hector Moreno leave the club this summer. He’s signed until 2016 and has a clause of 20 million euros, but Espanyol need money and he may be one of the players for change. Barcelona and Juventus are among those rumored to be interested.

    1. I very much dislike Barcelona’s attitude, but would love Moreno to be playing for the best club in recent years. That would make him a Rafa Marquez. I personally like Marquez in his younger years. One of my faves. Barcelona would do him well if he was a starter. Good luck to him.
