  1. Nice! You put Casillas on here! Great work! Any news on CH14 and MU? It isn’t looking good! I really wish he would go to RM! Playing w/ CR7 would be awesome!!

    1. Thanks! It was actually Bryan’s suggestion to follow some of the guys in MLS that are connected to the NT.

Haven’t heard any new rumors, but some will probably pop up as the season comes to an end. We’ll also have to see whether Mourinho stays or goes to see more of the Chicharito at RM deal.

  2. Hi Andrea, I’d love to hear you thoughts on which team you think would be a good fit for Chicharito. Personally, I think he would fit great with Atletico Madrid if Falcao leaves this summer. Thanks.

    1. Juan-

I think that’d be a good option, but I actually think he’d continue to do well in the Premier League. I’d like to see him at Arsenal. He’s been linked with them before and if he wants to continue in the Premier League with someone else, I think he’d be a great fit. He’s shown that he has the ability to play against the physically tough opponents and he’s got solid numbers. I think Wenger would make him one of his target guys. He’d also be great at finishing off all the opportunities. Arsenal is a quality team(though it may not seem like it in recent years) that I think could benefit from having him there. However, I don’t really see Chicharito would go to another English team and he’d probably go abroad.

The thing is if he ever goes to a team that hasn’t recently won a big trophy(Champions or league title), most will label it a disappointment/step down. I think Atletico would be a good fit as well, but I also think that it may bring some criticism to him since it’s not Barcelona or Real.

Manchester United is about a big as you can get for the most part. He wasn’t expected to have such a big impact right away and seeing what he can deliver you want him to stay at a big team. It’s kinda skewed the perception of what he should be doing. It’d be great to see him play more often, but at the same time he hasn’t been completely shoved away and all the competition will surely make him better. He’s also young so it’s not like he’ll fade into obscurity right away if he sits on the bench for a few games. The one problem with that is that there are players that SAF trusts a bit more that might keep him on the bench.

    1. Casillas is the only important one. Until Carlos Alvarez gets called up I think it’s good having just Casillas on the list. MLS is wack anyways.

    3. Like Luis commented, that’s basically the idea of not covering all the MLS guys. There’s definitely a ton of Mexican players(especially at Chivas USA), but we’re focusing more on the ones that have strong ties to the NT.
