Call ups for WC qualifiers, friendlies

FMF logo courtesy of FEMEXFUT.ORG.MXThe FMF announced earlier today the 23 senior team players that will take part in the exhibition games against Wales, Bosnia, and Brazil, and the World Cup qualifying matches against Guyana and El Salvador.

Players will need to report to the national team on Monday, May 21. Those in the finals of the Mexican league will report on Tuesday, May 22.

  1. I liked how Reyna and De Nigris performed when they were on the mexican team. Im glad they got called up again.

    1. My best guess would be that he wasn’t called yet because Barca B still have a few games left in Segunda. Plus, he’s being considered more for the olympic squad.

      Deportivo, also in the segunda, can mathematically win a spot in La Liga this weekend so Guardado will be able to attend even though his team has a few games left.

  2. He declined so that he can sort out his club situation. There is also rumored to be bad blood between him and Chepo. Andrea – any more color?

  3. I was watching primer impacto. And for the sports they said that there rumors that Espanyol is interested in Carlos vela. Just putting it out there 🙂
