Mexicans Abroad 3/24-3/25

It was a calm week for the Mexicans Abroad. They didn’t stand out with any goals, but they continued to add minutes to their stats.

SPAIN

Pablo Barrera(Real Zaragoza)– Barrera was called for the game against Atletico Madrid, but was dropped before the match. Next game: 3/31 Sporting

Hector Moreno (Espanyol) – Moreno did not play in the 1-2 loss to Malaga due to an accumulation of yellow cards. Next game: 4/1 Villarreal

Taufic Guarch(Espanyol B)– Guarch did not play in the 6-0 win against Balaguer.

Andres Guardado (Deportivo la Coruña)– Guardado played all 90 minutes during the 2-0 win against Cordoba. Next: 3/31 Girona

Jonathan Dos Santos (Barcelona )– Dos Santos played all 90 minutes in the 2-1 win against Alcoyano. Next: 3/31 Gimnastic Tarragona

Carlos Vela (Real Sociedad) – Vela started and played all 90 minutes midweek against Levante. He scored his side’s only goal in the 6th minute, but he couldn’t do much to help them avoid defeat.

Vela started on the bench but went on to the field in the 56th minute during the 5-1 loss to Real Madrid. Next: 4/1 Rayo

Anibal Zurdo(Guadalajara)– Zurdo played 88 minutes during the 2-2 draw against Sabadell. He scored a goal in the 38th minute and drew a penalty in the 63rd, but his teammate was unable to convert. Next: 4/31 Alcorcon

ENGLAND

Giovani Dos Santos (Tottenham)– Dos Santos made it on to the field in the 73rd minute during the match that ended 1-0 against Stoke. He was not called for the 0-0 draw against Chelsea. Next: 3/27 Bolton(FA Cup)

Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez (Manchester United)– Hernandez was put on the field in the 73rd minute during the 1-0 win against Fulham. Next: 4/2 Blackburn

Antonio Pedroza(Crystal Palace)– Pedroza was not called for the 2-3 loss against Derby. There was no reserve league match scheduled this week. Next: 3/27 Doncaster

FRANCE

Guillermo Ochoa(Ajaccio)– Ochoa played all 90 minutes during the 1-1 draw against Lorient. Next: 4/1 Caen

GERMANY

Francisco ‘Maza’ Rodriguez (Stuttgart) – ‘Maza’ started during the 1-0 win against Nurnberg. He received a yellow card in the 29th minute.

SCOTLAND

Efrain Juarez(Celtic)– Juarez was not called for the 3-2 loss to Rangers. Next: 4/1 St. Johnstone

PORTUGAL

Edson Rivera(Braga)– Rivera played the final 12 minutes of the league cup match against Gil Vicente, but Braga lost 4-2 in a penalty shoot-out. He was not called for the match against Academica Coimbra.

GREECE

Nery Castillo (Aris)– Castillo did not play against Panionios because he had not recovered from a minor surgery for a recurring injury earlier in the week.

NETHERLANDS

Ulises Davila(Vitesse)– Missing from the first team. Has had time with the reserves. To be updated when latest game has concluded.

Finland

Jose Manuel Rivera– Injured.
